Students who login to Quicklaw/LexisNexis while on campus finally have access to Halsbury’s Laws of England. As we all know, Halsbury’s is THE encyclopedia of the law of England and Wales. Like the print version, the online version comprises a “comprehensive narrative statement” of the statutory and common law principles of English and Welsh law. Each subject section is written by an expert in that particular field and includes references to appropriate legislation and case law. The full-text of the online version is both browsable and searchable and is updated regularily. Students also have access to Halsbury’s Statute Citator and Monthly reviews.
To access Halsburys, sign in to Quicklaw/LexisNexis from any computer on campus. Select the Source Directory Tab and then Browse Sources. Select United Kingdom from the Country drop down menu and then you will see the various parts of Halsbury’s that are available to you
