Now that the library has moved and we are all settled in it, is back to practical business. So let’s focus on some UK resources at the library.
- The British Legal Research tutorial has been updated and remounted on the website at http://library.law.utoronto.ca/british-legal-research.
- The Library now subscribes to the Incorporated Council of Law Reporting’s official UK Law Reports Series called ICLR Online. ICLR Online includes all the Law Reports dating back from 1865 to today. The subscription also includes the Weekly Law Reports and as well as the Citator+ service which provides case histories, judicial treatment as well as links to cases and legislation cited
- Justis has now fully integrated Justcite making noting up UK cases easy and seamless.
- The library system has a subscription to Oxford Scholarship Online which includes over 950 law books with more being added all the time. Individual titles are included in the library catalogue and are available off-site through my.access. There is a time lag between when the books are made available electronically and when they are put into the catalogue but that does not mean you don’t have access to them. There is a direct link to the collection as a whole where you can access all the books that are available.
