Online Legal Research DatabaseTraining Registration – U of T Law Students Only

Quicklaw/LexisNexis and WestlawNext Canada are both comprehensive online legal research databases. Both contain primary legal material (cases and legislation) as well as legal commentary or secondary material (texts, encyclopedias, journal articles and other commentary). Both are valuable resources to which all law students have free access. One way to maximize the value of these resources to your research is to become familiar with the use and navigation of these huge databases. To that end, the library has organized lunchtime training sessions in both databases for law students.
