Calling All Summer RAs

Are you a Faculty of Law Summer Research Assistant? If yes, then please let us know. The Library has planned Research Instructional Sessions for you in order for your research projects to go as smoothly as possible.

These sessions take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays in May and June and they cover everything from inter-library loans, to copyright, to searching online databases.

Our first session will take place on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 12:30pm in the Library Training Room (Room P363). If you are unable to attend, please introduce yourself to one of the librarians (John Bolan, Sooin Kim, Alexia Loumankis) when you start working.

At this Orientation session, we will go over important information that you will need in order to do your research and use the Law Library over the summer, including:

  • Extending access to Quicklaw and WestlawNext
  • Borrowing on behalf of your Professor(s)
  • Photocopying, printing, and scanning in the Library and other administrative details
  • Copyright and Open Access

Throughout the summer, we will offer a series of lunch-time research instructional sessions for you on the following topics:

May 11*           Zotero citation tool (tentative date/time)
